The Impact of Grief and Loss within the Homelessness and Housing System Live Virtual Training

This training discusses grief and loss in homelessness response work, emphasizing how repeated exposure to death, trauma, structural inequalities, and complex caregiving relationships influence staff experiences and well-being over time. We'll explore the impact of cumulative and disenfranchised grief, alongside strategies to prevent and intervene in compassion fatigue, moral injury, and vicarious trauma. The training provides practical, equity-informed approaches to help teams process and integrate loss, rather than internalizing it.

The session will be taking place on:

Thursday, October 22nd, 2026 at 1pm EST.

Cost: $80 USD per registration

(Note: $80 USD is equivalent to ~$113 CAD)
